Overview

Fablab spearheaded the development of Sri Lanka's first insulin manufacturing facility, setting a benchmark in the region's pharmaceutical advancements. Leveraging extensive expertise in biologics and fermentation-based API production, we provided innovative designs and guided the selection of process equipment. This milestone project included seamless technology transfer, ensuring the facility operates at global standards, addressing local healthcare needs, and contributing to pharmaceutical self-reliance in Sri Lanka.
